Thoughts

These are the words that come to mind when I think of Caroline: honest, determined, curious, fun-loving and engaged. I really think she was an inspirational woman, interested in everything and everyone and expecting good things of you, but in a generous way. It was so impressive to me, when I talked to her last on the phone about having arthritis, how positively she tackled it, wanting to help others and reach out. Such a lovely, generous, keen-spirited woman, who I am so happy to have met. She definitely influenced so many people's lives positively. I will always remember her. Lots of love to you Jeremy, Kate and Patrick who must miss her every day, I know. x

Caroline, I will forever be grateful for being able to be apart of your life and family. Words cannot describe the extent of your kind and caring nature. Your passion for art and it’s theories will carry on inspiring me everyday. I am blessed with every discussion we had, filled with the knowledge and encouragement that every girl needs growing up. I will miss you, your wise words and kind hearted character, but I am grateful for every moment we had. Your loving nature lives on through everyone fortunate enough to have you in their lives. You will be missed by so many Caroline. All the love in the world, Jess x

I met Caroline early in 1968. We were students in Paris and shared a flat. There was a bath but no running hot water. The ‘fridge’ was the windowsill outside on the shady side of the building. We lived through the excitement of the ‘events’ of ‘mai ‘68’. Caroline was fun. She smiled a lot. She laughed a lot. We had good times there. We had a party in the flat and Caroline introduced me to Frank. Frank and I have now been married for 51 years. Thank you Caroline for your smile, your laughter, your friendship. Happy memories. God bless. Pat x
